US-based pizza chain Little Caesars has announced the promotion of three executives within its technology division, signalling a strategic emphasis on innovation and digital transformation.

The move aligns with the company's recent record-breaking growth and its focus on improving the customer experience through advanced technology.

Little Caesars is a part of the Ilitch Companies family of businesses.

Keith Faigin has been promoted to restaurant systems chief information officer, after a decade with the brand.

His role has been pivotal in advancing the company's e-commerce platform and securing multiple patents.

Afia Phillips has ascended to the role of chief information security officer (CISO).

In her previous position as Little Caesar Enterprises' information security vice-president, she was responsible for information security across all Ilitch companies.

Little Caesars has also named Lance Shinabarger as shared technologies and applications chief information officer.

With more than two decades of IT management experience, Lance has been instrumental in overseeing Little Caesars’ global infrastructure and other Ilitch businesses since joining the company in 2017.

Little Caesars global chief information officer Anita Klopfenstein said: "These promotions highlight the incredible talent and dedication of our leadership team.

“Keith, Afia and Lance have consistently demonstrated their commitment to innovation and excellence through their strong leadership. We are confident that they will continue to drive our technology initiatives forward.”

In November 2023, Little Caesars signed two franchise development agreements to open 15 new locations in Boston and Chicago in the US.

Little Caesars plans to expand its presence across major cities in the country.

Founded in 1959, Little Caesars has grown from a single family-owned restaurant to have a presence in 28 countries and territories.
