Taco Bell is expanding its Live Más Café concept into the US state of Texas, with new openings scheduled in Dallas and Houston.

The Dallas site will open on 6 November 2025 and the Houston opening on 20 November.

The move forms part of the chain’s plan to open 30 new café locations by the end of the year and roll out the speciality beverage-focused concept nationally.

Taco Bell is aiming for $5bn in beverage sales by 2030.

Live Más Cafés have been operating in Southern California since late 2024.

Taco Bell cites strong early demand at its Irvine site, reporting that the location is selling more than 900 drinks per day and that one out of every three transactions includes a drink exclusive to the Live Más Café.

The chain also reports broader growth in drink sales. As of August 2025, it had sold more than 600 million beverages in the year-to-date, a 16% rise on 2024, and 62% of all orders up to October 2025 have included a beverage.

Taco Bell global chief brand officer Taylor Montgomery stated: “Live Más Café was created in response to what we’re seeing from Gen Z, a real cultural shift where beverages are becoming lifestyle drivers. We’ve always been about bold innovation, but not just for the sake of it.

“We do it to create connection and give our fans more moments to live más throughout the day. Live Más Café is another example of how we take what we do best — craveable, fun and a little bit rebellious — and bring it into a whole new space.”

The Live Más Café format offers more than 20 handcrafted drinks prepared by Taco Bell’s Bellristas, including Refrescas [premium fruit-flavoured beverages] and speciality coffees.
