Papa Johns has appointed Jenna Bromberg as its new chief marketing officer effective 14 November.
Bromberg brings experience in brand campaigns and an understanding of consumer behaviour.
Previously she also served as vice-president of Brand Marketing & Creative at Carter's.
She was instrumental in steering multiple brands through the pandemic period and initiating several marketing campaigns.
Her move to Papa Johns signifies a return to the pizza industry, adding to her prior experience as Core Brand Marketing director at Pizza Hut.
In her new role, Bromberg’s responsibilities include leading Papa John’s marketing strategy, focusing on brand development, digital customer experience, and creative initiatives.
Additionally, she will oversee the product innovation pipeline, ensuring the introduction of new products and menu options to the market and driving existing and new customer bases.
Bromberg will directly report to CEO Todd Penegor and become a member of the Papa John’s Executive Leadership Team.
In September this year, Papa Johns announced a ten-year contract renewal with PepsiCo, designating the latter exclusive beverage supplier for its restaurants in North America.
Bromberg said: “The pizza industry has always been close to my heart, and I'm energised by the opportunity to combine my consumer retail experience with my restaurant industry background to create compelling, innovative marketing strategies that will connect with our customers as well as bring new consumers to the brand.”
Penegor said: “Jenna’s track record of building strong brands and driving innovative marketing campaigns makes her the ideal leader to help take the Papa Johns brand into its next chapter.
“Her proven ability to connect with modern consumers combined with her deep understanding of the restaurant industry, particularly her experience in the pizza segment, will be invaluable as we continue to expand our market presence.”
