Pizza Hut has launched two distinctive burgers in Japan - a novel venture for the renowned pizza chain.

The first burger, named the "Pizza-ya na no ni Rice Chicken Burger," features a creative combination of rice "buns" and a filling inspired by the chain's popular bulgogi pizza, or rice patties.

The patties are seasoned with soy sauce and crafted from locally sourced rice. The filling is a rich mayonnaise sauce, bulgogi beef, chives, mozzarella cheese and gouda cheese, creating a fusion of pizza and burger elements.

The second burger, the "Pizza-ya na no ni Chicken & Chicken Burger," presents a meatier option by substituting traditional buns with Japanese-style tatsuta chicken. This burger enhances the bulgogi pizza filling with an additional layer of chicken, claiming to offer a satisfying experience.

Pizza Hut describes both burgers as irresistible, designed to satiate cravings and leaving customers feeling content.

Available for a limited time, from 19 to 30 June 2024, each burger is priced at Y780 ($4.93).

In June 2024, Pizza Hut also introduced the Guilty "Ura" [meaning "secret"] Menu, featuring three innovative items.

Pizza no Ii Toko Kasanete Hitoguchi Ura Hut Melts, priced at Y1,580, have multiple layers of cheese and meat accompanied by a honey mustard dipping sauce. The Mayochiki de Chicken wo Hasanda Ura Pizza Sando, at Y780, combines a fried chicken piece with a folded Teriyaki Mayo Chicken Pizza for a compact yet flavourful meal.

Completing the trio is the Tabetai Chicken Zenbu Iri Ura Side Box, also priced at Y1,580. This comprehensive box includes an assortment of chicken dishes and French fries, complete with honey mustard sauce, catering to those who desire a variety of chicken options without the hassle of ordering separately.

Initially intended to be available until 16 June 2024, the popularity of these items has led to their availability being extended to 30 June, alongside the new burgers.
