Restaurant management system SpotOn has launched DayCheck, an earned tip solution designed to make tip payouts simple and improve cash flow.
DayCheck eliminates the need for manual calculations, cash handling and delayed payouts, integrating into SpotOn Teamwork to calculate tips automatically.
Managers can approve tips with a single click, and payouts are swiftly sent to employees, bypassing the need for restaurants to prefund tips in a separate account.

This digital-first approach not only lessens the administrative burden for operators but also expedites tip distribution, making the process more transparent for staff.
The solution supports staff to allocate additional tips directly at the end of their shifts and provides flexibility to customise tip distributions.
It helps to reconcile all forms of tips from guests, encompassing credit cards, cash, auto gratuity, service fees and even sales commissions.
DayCheck offers employees greater control over their tips. With the DayCheck app, approved tips become instantly available, and employees can choose between no-fee transfers or quick transfers for a nominal fee.
A SpotOn debit card will soon be introduced, providing free, quick payouts for employees at no extra cost to the business.
DayCheck is the newest in a series of innovations from SpotOn aimed at assisting independent restaurants without adding cost or intricacy.
In July 2025, SpotOn introduced the AI-driven menu recommendation feature Picked for You on its fee-free online ordering platform, SpotOn Order.
