American restaurant chain Surcheros Fresh Mex is set to open a new location in Cartersville, in the US state of Georgia.

The new restaurant will open on 21 May 2024 at 104 S Tennessee St.

It will be the company’s first restaurant in Cartersville and the 28th in Georgia.   

The upcoming Surcheros venue will offer indoor and outdoor seating, a dedicated exterior pick-up lane for mobile orders, a salsa bar and a customisable meal ordering line.

Catering services will be available for events with ten or more guests.

The Cartersville location will feature the chain's popular menu items, including tacos, grilled burritos and quesadillas with a choice of premium meats or vegetables.

The menu offers 25 toppings and signature sauces. A special Lil’ Ones menu will cater to children, while other guests can enjoy salads and burrito bowls.

The opening in Cartersville follows the launch of another Surcheros restaurant in Athens, Georgia, in March 2024 - the brand's second in the city and 27th in the state.

The Athens restaurant at The Markets at Epps Bridge Shopping Center spans 3,195ft².

Founded in 2007 by Luke, Surcheros Fresh Mex began franchising in 2017 under the leadership of Luke and his wife, Nicole.

The brand initially expanded across South Georgia and into Florida and continues to grow.
