US-based casual bar and grill TGI Fridays has announced the opening of a new restaurant within the Hilton Garden Inn in Hollywood, California.

The initiative will enhance operational efficiency and provide value to hotel guests.

The latest TGI Fridays restaurant location is situated near Hollywood's tourist attractions.

The development of the new location involved reimagining the existing restaurant space at the Hilton Garden Inn.

The collaboration with Aimbridge Hospitality, which operates the hotel, sought to transform the space into a profitable centre for the hotel and a beneficial addition for guests and the local community, whether dining in or opting for delivery.

The renovation is a cost-effective and timely project, utilising underused space to establish a full-service bar and restaurant.

The 4,000ft² Hollywood venue can accommodate 150 patrons and features an outdoor patio with views of a pedestrian walkway.

The launch represents the second hotel-based Fridays for RLJ Lodging Trust, the hotel owner that also owns a full-size Fridays at the Courtyard by Marriott near Chicago Midway International Airport.

TGI Fridays continues to expand its presence in travel-centric locations such as airports, hotels and casinos.

In July 2023, TGI Fridays announced the opening of its newly renovated restaurant inside the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) Airport in the US.

In April 2023, the chain entered an all-share acquisition agreement with UK-based Hostmore. The £177m ($220m) deal will be completed in the third quarter of 2024.
