Urban Pubs & Bars managing director Chris Hill said: “Well-run, well-positioned businesses are thriving in the capital.

“We’re seeing robust demand across our estate and strong like-for-like growth, which gives us the confidence to keep investing.

“These latest acquisitions are exactly the kind of sites we look for, and we’re excited about the opportunities they present as we continue to grow our London estate.”

The purchases follow Urban Pubs & Bars’ acquisition of Albion & East last October.

The deal with Albion & East brought four London restaurants into its portfolio, including Teatro Hall in Ealing, Canova Hall in Brixton, Botanica Hall in Clapham Junction and Serata Hall in the City.

As part of the deal, Urban Pubs & Bars agreed to take the business on in its entirety, along with all Albion & East team members.

After the latest transaction, the group will operate 65 venues in London, with annual sales of more than £100m ($134m).

The pub operator’s portfolio includes the Canova Hall in Brixton and the Sun of Camberwell, which underwent a £1m refurbishment earlier this year, Brixton Buzz reported.
