Under the renewed agreement, the company will continue to provide food and beverage services for private events and large-scale occasions at Hopetoun House.

The next stage of the partnership includes a refurbishment of The Stables Kitchen, the informal café housed in the restored 18th-century Adam Stables.

The café currently serves a counter-service menu featuring homemade baking, light lunches and a traditional afternoon tea.

The redesigned space is intended to offer more flexibility and to accommodate an expanded events programme.

Heritage Portfolio will continue to serve menus designed to reflect the heritage of Hopetoun House, while maintaining the capacity to deliver large-scale hospitality, including high-profile events and luxury weddings.

The extended deal is also expected to support additional job creation in the local area, as the Hopetoun House Preservation Trust advances into the next stage of its partnership with the catering provider.

Heritage Portfolio executive director Sandy Robson said: “Hopetoun House is one of Scotland’s most prestigious and iconic historic stately homes, and it has been a privilege to work within such a remarkable setting for over 20 years.

“We are proud to continue this long-standing relationship and look forward to creating many more exceptional experiences.”

Hopetoun House general manager Piers de Salis added: “Extending this agreement allows us to build on a relationship founded on trust, shared standards and a deep understanding of the House and its heritage.

“As we look ahead, this continued collaboration will support further investment in our visitor offer, including enhancements to the Stables Kitchen, while ensuring that food, service and hospitality remain aligned with the quality and character people expect from Hopetoun.”
