Huey Magoo’s president and CEO Andy Howard said: “This agreement reflects the continued strong interest we’re seeing from experienced multi-unit franchisees who recognise the strength of our model and the depth of support behind it.
“We’re proud to introduce the Huey Magoo’s experience to new Texas and Alabama communities with such a strong franchise group.”
Known for serving hand-crafted chicken tenders, the company signed the agreement with the Jha Rajput Patel Group, which has committed to building the eight North Dallas sites and four Birmingham locations.
The group is led by managing partners Abdhesh Jha, Abhisek Rajput and Gopal Patel.

By GlobalDataRajput said: “We were looking for a brand with a high-quality product, strong business model and a leadership team that truly supports its franchisees.
“Huey Magoo’s delivers on all three. We see real opportunity for growth and look forward to becoming long-term partners in each of the communities we serve.”
Huey Magoo’s currently operates more than 85 restaurants across 12 US states and expects to reach 100 locations in 2026.
Last year, the company unveiled a smaller 1,500ft² prototype aimed at lowering construction costs, speeding up development and allowing franchisees to pursue more compact sites.
The brand also introduced Magoo’s Rewards, a loyalty scheme that it says has seen strong early take-up from customers.
Menu changes have included the launch of Grilled Tender Bites and a wider range of speciality hand-crafted lemonades. In July 2025, Huey Magoo’s opened its first airport restaurant at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport in Florida.
