Transportation and Material Moving Occupations drive food service industry hiring activity

Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Transportation and Material Moving Occupations, which accounted for 18% of the total new job postings in Q3 2023 and were up by 1431% year-on-year. Second highest were Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which accounted for 16% and rise by 155% year-on-year, and third highest were Management Occupations, which were 23% of the new job postings and 32% higher year-on-year.

Top five companies in food service industry accounted for 81% of hiring activity

The highest number of jobs were posted by Domino's Pizza with 115,616, followed by Aimbridge Hospitality with 8,886, while the highest increase was at Carrols Restaurant Group at 58%.
