Fish & Seafood was found to be the most-used ingredient in FSR establishments, featuring in 44% of menu items, followed by cheese and salad vegetables. Vegetables and chicken were also significant ingredients. An analysis of menu categories reveals that fish & seafood dishes, meat dishes, soft drinks, pasta & pizza and salads & sides were most popular within the FSR format.
An analysis of the annual price change between 2023 and H1 2024 indicates that the average menu prices in Morocco FSR channel have flat growth. Considering all channels (including FSR) the average price change was 0%. As on-premises dining gains momentum following the COVID-19 pandemic, the FSR segment in Morocco is expected to experience overall growth.
