Cheese was found to be the most-used ingredient in QSR establishments, featuring in 33% of menu items, followed by fish & seafood and vegetables. Salad Vegetables and chicken were also significant ingredients. An analysis of menu categories reveals that fish & seafood dishes, pasta & pizza, meat dishes, salads & sides and meal deals and combinations were most popular within the QSR format.
An analysis of the annual price change between 2023 and H1 2024 indicates that the average menu prices in the Ukraine QSR channel have flat growth. Considering all channels (including QSR) the average price change was 0%. As on-premises dining gains momentum following the COVID-19 pandemic, the QSR segment in the Ukraine is expected to experience overall growth.
