Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 51.92% in July 2022, a 6.9% drop over the previous month. Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers came in next, claiming a share of 21.15% in July 2022, marking a 26.67% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Computer and Information Analysts with a share of 13.46% in July 2022, a 36.36% drop from June 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average flat growth in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s food service industry during July 2022 over previous month.
AmRest Holdings posted 48 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a decline of 11.11% over the previous month, followed by Minor International with 2 jobs and a 50% drop. McDonald’s with 1 IT job and Collins Foods with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while recorded a flat growth with job postings during July 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Asia-Pacific’s food service industry
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s food service industry IT hiring activity with a 65.38% share in July 2022, a 2.86% decrease over June 2022. Macao (China SAR) featured next with a 26.92% share, down 30% over the previous month. Australia recorded a 7.69% share, a growth of 33.33% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.54%, down by 3.03% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 38.46% share, registered a decline of 31.03% compared with the previous month.
