Germany-based company Delivery Hero’s IT hiring rose 18.7% in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 11.64% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 21.6% share in the company’s total hiring activity in February 2022, and recorded a 0.78% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Delivery Hero IT hiring in February 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Delivery Hero, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 68.42% in February 2022, and a 56.67% drop over January 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 26.32% in February 2022, and registered growth of 11.11%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 2.63% in February 2022, a flat growth from January 2022.

South & Central America drives IT hiring at Delivery Hero

South & Central America emerged as the leading region in the global food service IT hiring activity in February 2022 with a 78.95% share, which marked a 45.45% drop over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 13.16%, registering a 58.33% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 5.26% share and a flat growth over January 2022.

In the fourth place was Asia-Pacific with a share of 2.63% and a month-on-month decline of 83.33%.

Colombia commanded a leading presence in the region’s food service industry IT hiring activity with a 65.79% share in February 2022, a 43.18% decline over January 2022. Germany featured next with a 10.53% share, down 63.64% over the previous month. Argentina recorded a 10.53% share, a decline of 50% compared with January 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Delivery Hero IT hiring activity in February 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 84.21%, down by 47.54% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 13.16% share, a decline of 28.57% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 2.63% share, down 80% over January 2022.
