November 2021 has seen a decrease of 5.72% in the overall hiring activity when compared with October 2021.
IT jobs accounted for a 1.09% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in November 2021, registering an increase of 0.03% over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in November 2021
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 55% in November 2021, a 57.14% rise over the previous month. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations came in next, claiming a share of 15% in November 2021, marking a flat month-on-month increase. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 15% in November 2021, a 200% rise from October 2021.
Computer and Information Analysts registered a share of 10% in November 2021, a 33.33% decline over the previous month.
Top five food service companies in Europe’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 260% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s food service industry during November 2021 over previous month.
Domino’s Pizza Group posted 12 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered an increase of 300% over the previous month, followed by Soho House with 3 jobs and a flat growth. Welcome Break Group with 1 IT job and CJ Lang & Son with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Kingston Hospital NHS Trust Dining Services recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during November 2021.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s food service industry
The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s food service industry IT hiring activity with a 100% share in November 2021, an 81.82% increase over October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70%, up by 7.69% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 25% share, registered a growth of 400% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 5% share, down 50% over October 2021.
