Miscellaneous Computer Occupations Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in North America with a share of 61.9% in July 2022, a 37.78% rise over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 21.3% in July 2022, marking a 21.95% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers with a share of 9.15% in July 2022, a 9.84% drop from June 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 42.66% in the overall IT recruitment activity of North America’s food service industry during July 2022 over previous month.
Bloomin’ Brands posted 351 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered an increase of 85.71% over the previous month, followed by Aimbridge Hospitality with 100 jobs and a 12.28% drop. The University of Texas at Austin Division of Housing and Food Service with 19 IT jobs and HelloFresh with 18 jobs, recorded an 18.75% rise and a 28% drop, respectively, while Starbucks recorded a 70% increase with 17 job postings during July 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in North America’s food service industry
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s food service industry IT hiring activity with a 98.5% share in July 2022, a 10.65% increase over June 2022. Canada featured next with a 1.5% share, up 50% over the previous month. recorded a flat share, a flat growth compared with June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 92.01%, up by 19.18% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 4.16% share, registered a decline of 26.47% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 3.83% share, down 46.51% over June 2022.
