Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in South & Central America with a share of 64.29% in April 2022, a 28.95% drop over the previous month. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations came in next, claiming a share of 21.43% in April 2022, marking a 200% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Computer and Information Analysts with a share of 9.52% in April 2022, a flat growth from March 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average flat growth in the overall IT recruitment activity of South & Central America’s food service industry during April 2022 over previous month.
Delivery Hero posted 42 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered a decline of 4.55% over the previous month, followed by with jobs and a flat growth. with IT jobs and with jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while recorded a flat growth with job postings during April 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in South & Central America’s food service industry
Colombia commanded a leading presence in the region’s food service industry IT hiring activity with an 85.71% share in April 2022, a 10% decrease over March 2022. Argentina featured next with a 7.14% share, up 200% over the previous month. Peru recorded a 7.14% share, a growth of 50% compared with March 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 78.57%, down by 8.33% from March 2022. Entry Level positions with a 16.67% share, registered a decline of 12.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 4.76% share, flat growth over March 2022.
