March 2022 has seen an increase of 16.99% in the overall hiring activity when compared with February 2022.
IT jobs accounted for a 22.82% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in March 2022, registering an increase of 8.76% over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in March 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in South & Central America with a share of 87.5% in March 2022, an 84.21% rise over the previous month. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations came in next, claiming a share of 7.5% in March 2022, marking a 70% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Computer Support Specialists with a share of 2.5% in March 2022, a flat growth from February 2022.
Database and Network Administrators and Architects registered a share of 2.5% in March 2022, a flat growth over the previous month.
Top five food service companies in South & Central America’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average flat growth in the overall IT recruitment activity of South & Central America’s food service industry during March 2022 over previous month.
Delivery Hero posted 40 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered an increase of 33.33% over the previous month.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in South & Central America’s food service industry
Colombia commanded a leading presence in the region’s food service industry IT hiring activity with a 90% share in March 2022, a 44% increase over February 2022. Peru featured next with a 5% share, up 100% over the previous month. Ecuador recorded a 2.5% share, a flat growth compared with February 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 80%, up by 18.52% from February 2022. Entry Level positions with a 20% share, registered a growth of 700% compared with the previous month.
