Top five food service companies in the US’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 16.22% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s food service industry during September 2021 over August 2021.

Compass Group posted 35 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a rise of 105.88% over the previous month, followed by Starbucks with 25 jobs and a 19.35% drop. Domino’s Pizza with 18 IT jobs and McDonald’s with 8 jobs, recorded a 100% flat growth and a 79.49% decrease, respectively, while Chick-fil-A recorded a decline of 53.33% with 7 job postings during September 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.6%, down by 5.75% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 24% share, registered a decline of 33.33% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 9.6% share, down 33.33% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.8%, recording a month-on-month decline of 50%.
