The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 14.39% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the food service industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 0.58% share in November 2022, recording a decrease of 0.04% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in the US’s food service industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 99.04% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s food service industry in November 2022.
1) Database and Network Administrators and Architects recorded a share of 33.65% in November 2022, registering a 59.54% decline over the previous month.
2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 33.65% share, a decrease of 4.11% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 14.9%, registering a 6.9% rise from October 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 9.13%, down 44.12% over the previous month.
Top five food service companies in the US’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 46.99% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s food service industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
Meyer Jabara Hotels posted 37 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 3600% over the previous month, followed by Aimbridge Hospitality with 20 jobs and an 83.61% drop. AmRest Holdings with 15 IT jobs and University of Texas at Austin Division of Housing and Food Service with 13 jobs, recorded a 42.31% decline and a 43.48% decrease, respectively, while HEI Hotels and Resorts recorded an increase of 9.09% with 12 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.71%, down by 46.89% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 16.35% share, registered a decline of 5.56% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 13.46% share, up 21.74% over October 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.48%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
