The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 20.89% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

Out of the food service industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 0.64% share in June 2022, recording a decrease of 0.04% over the last three-month average share.

Top five food service companies in the US’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 43.79% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s food service industry during June 2022 over May 2022.

Bloomin’ Brands posted 189 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a drop of 69.02% over the previous month, followed by Aimbridge Hospitality with 100 jobs and a 222.58% growth. Denny’s with 39 IT jobs and Darden Restaurants with 23 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while HelloFresh recorded an increase of 5.26% with 20 job postings during June 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 86.08%, down by 41.64% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 7.16% share, registered an increase of 28.57% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 6.76% share, up 6.25% over May 2022.
