Out of the food service industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 0.26% share in March 2022, recording an increase of 0.03% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 18.1% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s food service industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
HelloFresh posted 45 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a rise of 36.36% over the previous month, followed by The University of Texas at Austin Division of Housing and Food Service with 26 jobs and an 8.33% growth. Chipotle Mexican Grill with 19 IT jobs, recorded a flat growth, while McDonald’s recorded an increase of 50% with 15 job postings during March 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.75%, up by 29.89% from February 2022. Entry Level positions with a 20.97% share, registered a decline of 11.36% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 18.28% share, down 20.93% over February 2022.
