The industry’s overall hiring increased by 2.53% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.
Out of the food service industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 0.16% share in November 2021, recording an increase of 0.02% over the last three-month average share.

Top five food service companies in the US’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 325.64% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s food service industry during November 2021 over October 2021.
The University of Texas at Austin Division of Housing and Food Service posted 105 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Starbucks with 21 jobs and a 61.54% growth. McDonald’s with 19 IT jobs and Yum! Brands with 11 jobs, recorded a 216.67%growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Compass Group recorded an increase of 11.11% with 10 job postings during November 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.84%, up by 83.33% from October 2021. Entry Level positions with a 15.34% share, registered an increase of 107.14% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 14.81% share, down 15.15% over October 2021.
