The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 35.62% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s food service industry during December 2021 over November 2021.
The University of Texas at Austin Division of Housing and Food Service posted 31 IT jobs in December 2021 and registered a drop of 70.19% over the previous month, followed by Starbucks with 26 jobs and a 23.81% growth. Compass Group with 18 IT jobs and Chipotle Mexican Grill with 11 jobs, recorded an 80% growth and a 450% growth, respectively, while Domino’s Pizza recorded a decline of 11.11% with 8 job postings during December 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in December 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 52.8%, down by 50.38% from November 2021. Mid Level positions with a 24.8% share, registered an increase of 10.71% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 22.4% share, down 3.45% over November 2021.
