As part of a multi-year agreement with Penn Athletics, Aramark will also provide its services at Penn’s Franklin Field and The Palestra facilities as well as serve as the designated caterer for all on-campus athletics needs.
Both the parties will work together to expand local menu offerings and use technology to improve the diet of nearly 1,000 athletes.
In addition, Aramark will invest in the construction of a new on-site kitchen. It will also serve as the concessionaire for the Penn Relays track and field carnival, 2018 Ivy League Basketball Tournament at the Palestra and other external events hosted within Penn Athletics’ premises.
Penn Athletics director of athletics Dr M. Grace Calhoun said: “Improving the fan experience is part of our strategic priority of engagement and this renewed agreement with Aramark is a key part of making our intercollegiate events and the Penn Relays a better experience for our students, alumni and friends,”
Aramark sports and entertainment division president Carl Mittleman added: “We look forward to continuing to enhance the game-day experience for Quakers’ fans with diverse menu offerings, upgraded amenities and a brand new kitchen.”
