US-based restaurant company Applebee’s Neighbourhood Grill + Bar has announced that it will give away 40 free boneless wings with every delivery order of $40 or more during the Super Bowl.
The company stated that it will give away 1.6 million free Classic Boneless Wings to fans across the US on 2 February.
To avail the offer, a customer has to place an order worth $40 or more on Applebees.com or the Applebee’s mobile app and then add the promo code “FREEWINGS” at check out.
The offer is also only valid for wings in Classic Hot Buffalo sauce with ranch and celery only and is not valid for pickup, dine-in, or through third-party delivery services.
This delivery deal will be valid for the first 40,000 orders.
Applebee’s chief marketing officer Joel Yashinsky said: “Hands down, our fans can’t get enough of our Boneless Wings, which is why we’re giving away up to 1.6 million of them on game day.”

Currently, Applebee’s operates nearly 2,000 franchise restaurants across 50 US states, as well as in Puerto Rico, Guam and 13 other countries.
In December 2018, the company completed an acquisition of 69 own-brand restaurants in North Carolina and South Carolina from franchisee Apple Gold Group.
Applebee’s plans to initially own and operate these restaurants, but will assess and monitor refranchise opportunities in future.
