American food services company Aramark has partnered with New York-based Ocean Hugger Foods to offer the plant-based alternative to raw tuna, Ahimi, to corporate and higher education cafes.

Created by Master Chef James Corwell for consumers looking for plant-based meals, Ahimi is a vegan, non-GMO tuna alternative prepared using tomatoes, filtered water, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar.

Under the partnership, the two companies have created a new menu comprising of a range of new poke bowls that will feature Ahimi.

“At Aramark, we’re continually looking for new and innovative ways to deliver culinary experiences that meet the demands of our guests.”

The limited-time bowls will be initially offered at select Aramark-managed corporate cafes and college campus dining halls.
