Customers will be able to place orders for home delivery from their nearest GYG outlet through the Uber Eats app, as well as via “GYG Delivery”, the company’s own branded service that is powered by Uber.

GYG said the partnership supports its focus on providing “greater convenience for guests in Australia”.

As part of the deal, GYG and Uber intend to “increase their joint investment to bring guests even more value, choice and convenience”.

The exclusive arrangement aims to improve the delivery economics across GYG restaurants by supporting sales growth and securing more favourable commercial terms.

According to GYG, franchise operators across the country are also expected to benefit, with “several initiatives in place to ensure the transition to exclusivity does not adversely impact the sales performance of GYG restaurants”.

Delivery has become a significant contributor to GYG’s Australian operations, accounting for around 27% of its total domestic sales in the first half of FY26.

The company said this share demonstrates the role of delivery in its wider expansion plans.

The exclusivity applies solely to GYG’s Australian network. The company confirmed it will continue to work with all its delivery partners in the US, Singapore and Japan.

GYG founder and co-CEO Steven Marks said: “Our guests love the convenience of delivery, and this exclusive partnership with Uber Eats means we can serve them even better.

“This isn’t just about delivery, it’s about creating an experience that reflects the quality and speed our guests expect while driving innovation in how we connect with them.”
