Kiosk-ordering software system Bite has partnered with loyalty and guest engagement platform Thanx to augment the guest experience in quick service and fast-casual restaurants.  

The collaboration will integrate Thanx’s loyalty programmes into Bite’s kiosk ordering process to enhance operational efficiency.

The partnership comes in response to rising labour costs and evolving consumer preferences.

The partnership between Thanx and Bite allows restaurants to offer tailored experiences to loyalty members using kiosks, similar to those via mobile apps and online platforms.

The integration will recognise customer preferences and past interactions, and provide relevant promotions, recommendations and rewards.

The integration leverages Thanx’s application programming interfaces and development support, allowing Bite to promptly establish a connection to the Thanx loyalty platform.

This enables customers to directly access their rewards and benefits via the kiosk interface, streamlining the ordering process and enhancing satisfaction.

Purchases automatically earn points through Thanx’s card-linked loyalty technology, simplifying the process and ensuring customers can easily use their loyalty rewards.

In April 2024, Bite secured Series A funding of $9m to enhance the hospitality experience.
