American fast food chain Burger King has selected software and information technology services company SAP Ariba and SAP to support its growth.
The chain will use Cloud-based procurement applications and a business network from SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA from SAP to expand its presence and increase revenue.
These solutions will assist the restaurant chain to create a digital process to fuel savings, efficiencies and business growth.
Leveraging both solutions, the company will gain insights from the data stored in its supply chains and use them to grow further.
SAP Korea managing director Sungyoul Lee said: “We are pleased that Burger King will be our first customer to introduce both SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba simultaneously in the Korean market.
“SAP will continue to support Korean businesses to enhance efficiency and establish real-time business operation for their digital transformation journey.”
Burger King will be able to consolidate and control spends across major categories such as direct, indirect, logistics contingent labour and services and travel and capital expenditures using the solutions, discover and digitally transact with suppliers, negotiate savings in real-time, manage supplier relationships and create an enhanced purchasing experience for the consumer.
