American restaurant chain BurgerFi is set to return to New York City with the opening of its Better Burger Lab on the Upper East Side.

The new establishment, situated at 1571 Second Ave, will open on 4 April 2024.

The opening will feature New York City exclusive items such as the Everything Bagel Burger: a blend of natural Angus beef, Havarti cheese, grilled onions, a cage-free fried egg, and garlic and herb Boursin cheese served on an Everything Bagel.

It will also serve the NYC Hot Dog made with American wagyu beef and topped with spicy brown mustard and sauerkraut.

The Better Burger Lab also offers new Prime Rib Burgers, Fried and Grilled Chicken Sandwiches, a Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich, a Grilled Chicken Salad Bowl and NYC-only wing flavours.

In January 2024, BurgerFi expanded its menu nationwide with the introduction of the Yes, Chef Burger.

This consists of two hand-smashed Angus beef patties, chargrilled onions and melted American cheese. In December 2023, the restaurant chain launched the first co-branded location in Kissimmee, Florida, in collaboration with Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings.
