Casual dining restaurant chain Boston’s Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar (Boston’s) has added three new thin crust pizzas to its summer menu.
The three limited menu items include Skinny Carnivore, Potato Bianca and Pizza Bella and will be available until 12 August this year.
Skinny Carnivore is a blend of Genoa salami, aged prosciutto, Tabasco-Sriracha sauce, mozzarella, roasted cherry tomatoes, garlic, sesame seeds and freshly grated Parmesan.
Potato Bianca is made using sliced white potatoes, caramelised onions, goat cheese, honey, mozzarella, sesame seeds and Boston’s blend of pizza spices.
Pizza Bella is created using Boston’s signature pizza sauce, aged prosciutto, Parmesan, garlic and mozzarella and topped with lemon vinaigrette arugula and freshly grated Parmesan.
Boston’s marketing senior director Katie Borger said: “Boston’s is famous for gourmet pizzas which are made-from-scratch with the freshest ingredients.
“It only makes sense that we add to our renowned pizza menu with unique, thin crust options just in time for the warm summer months. The new gourmet pizzas make Boston’s the perfect summertime escape for families and fans alike.”
In addition, the restaurant chain is launching summertime cocktails such as Blackberry Mule and Coronaritas.
Blackberry Mule features High West Double Rye whiskey, ginger beer and a berry puree topped with fresh blackberries.
Coronaritas is an ice-cold cocktail made using tequila, Cointreau, premium margarita mix and Corona.
Based in Dallas, Boston’s currently operates 23 locations in 16 states across the country and its sister brand, Boston Pizza, operates more than 400 locations throughout Canada.
