American restaurant chain Chick-fil-A is launching its new 2024 seasonal entrée, the Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich, and bringing back the Peach Milkshake.

The sandwich combines maple syrup with a touch of heat and was successfully tested in select markets in 2023 before its 2024 nationwide rollout.

The Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich features a lemon herb marinated boneless breast of chicken, grilled for a smoky flavour profile.

It is served on a toasted maple-flavoured brioche bun with Pepper Jack cheese, crisp green leaf lettuce, and bacon coated with a brown sugar and pepper blend, and is topped with pickles.

Chick-fil-A chef Christy Cook said: “For me – and many of our guests – Chick-fil-A’s Peach Milkshake signals the arrival of summer. This June, we’re thrilled to bring back the seasonal favourite alongside the new Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich.

The milkshake blends the chain’s signature Icedream dessert with peach puree and is topped with whipped cream and a cherry.

Both the Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich and the Peach Milkshake will be available at Chick-fil-A restaurants from 10 June 2024 for a limited time only.

Chick-fil-A menu and packaging director Allison Duncan said: “We are always looking for ways to make unique twists to our entrée selection and the Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich is a delicious spin on the Chick-fil-A flavours our guests know and love.

“It is a delicious blend of sweet and spicy, offering an entirely different flavour profile than any other sandwich we’ve launched. We have several new and exciting offerings in the pipeline and look forward to continuing to surprise our guests.”

In April 2024 Chick-fil-A expanded its menu with the Cherry Berry beverage line across the US market.
