American fast casual chain Chipotle Mexican Grill has expanded its menu by introducing a new collection of Lifestyle Bowls.

The lifestyle bowls feature paleo salad, keto salad, whole30 salad and double protein.

The whole30 salad bowl is made using romaine lettuce, carnitas, fajita vegetables, tomato salsa and guacamole, while the paleo salad bowl features romaine lettuce, barbacoa, fajita vegetables, green salsa and guacamole.

The keto salad bowl is a blend of romaine lettuce, carnitas, red salsa, cheese and guacamole, and the double protein bowl is made using white rice, black beans, a full portion of chicken and steak, red salsa, romaine lettuce and sour cream.

“We’ve watched guests custom create lifestyle-specific bowls when ordering in our restaurants, so it made sense to offer delicious options via our online channels.”

All the salad bowls are available exclusively through the company’s mobile app and website for in-restaurant pickup or delivery.

Chipotle chief marketing officer Chris Brandt said: “Now more than ever, Americans are embracing new and varied approaches to healthy living and wellness.

“We’ve watched guests custom create lifestyle-specific bowls when ordering in our restaurants, so it made sense to offer delicious options via our online channels that help people easily order bowls with real ingredients that fit their wellness goals.”

Chipotle currently owns and operates more than 2,450 restaurants across the US, Canada, the UK, France and Germany. It employs over 70,000 employees to serve its customers.

In October last year, the company reported revenues of $1.2bn for the third quarter (Q3) ending 30 September, an 8.6% increase from the same period last year.
