Chef and restaurateur Jamie Oliver has opened his third Jamie’s Italian in Brazil this week, in the southern city of Curitiba.

Located in Patio Batel mall, reports claim the new site is led by franchise partners from Passione, Marcel Gholmieh, Lisandro Lauretti and Renata Bagnolesi, and follows the success of Jamie’s Italian in Campinas and Itaim.

Chief operating officer of the international arm of the Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group, Nick Schapira, told sources: “Opening three restaurants in any territory is a huge achievement, so we’re thrilled to (have opened) Jamie’s Italian in Curitiba.

“We have long-standing partners in the Passione group and our partners Marcel Gholmieh and Lisandro Lauretti, have helped the Jamie’s Italian brand grow from strength to strength in their territory.

“We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Jamie in Brazil.”

Jamie’s Italian claims: “(The Curitiba site) is the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends or family, or stop by for a drink at the end of the day.

“The unique menu features plenty of Jamie’s Italian classics, as well as artisanal pizzas and an excellent wine menu.”
