As part of the collaboration, all the bakery outlets will serve Origin’s speciality coffee. Also based in Cornwall, the speciality coffee roaster runs eight coffee shop locations around the UK.

Origin Coffee founder Tom Sobey was quoted by the publication as saying: “We are thrilled to be working with Cornish Bakery, which feels like a celebration of where we come from and what we stand for.

“It’s incredibly special to see two Cornish-born brands supporting each other while bringing exceptional coffee to customers across the UK.”

The companies said that the arrangement is framed around local provenance and is linked to employment in Cornwall, and will support the expansion of both companies.
