Costa Coffee has unveiled its Costa Collect service to allow its members to pre-order drinks using the loyalty programme app across 111 stores in London.
The new service enhances the current Costa Coffee Club loyalty programme app and is designed to offer an easy way to order drinks.
Customers can also track their nearest store to place orders from a range of menu choices with various sizes, milk types and other added extras.
The app also saves data on previous orders to enable customers to re-order the same items.
Costa Coffee global digital & loyalty director Arslan Sharif said: “Customer experience is at the heart of everything we do at Costa Coffee and we understand the importance of delivering innovations to ensure our customers get the best experience from our brand.
“Our insights tell us that customers are demanding more and expect innovations which help enhance their day-to-day busy lives by making it easy and convenient to buy their favourite drink; our new Costa Collect service does exactly this.”
The British coffee chain is planning to launch the service to further locations next year.
Sharif added: “We look forward to customers discovering new and faster ways to enjoy great coffee as we look to expand the Costa Collect service UK-wide in 2019.”
Customers can make their payments through the app by uploading their credit and debit card details.
Last month, Costa Coffee and Barclaycard have announced the launch of a contactless coffee cup payment system in the UK.
