UK-based café chain Costa Coffee has announced the opening of its upgraded New George Street store in Plymouth.

The Plymouth store now offers touchscreen ordering and a dedicated collection point for customers on the go.

It also has a refreshed counter, modern seating and a new mobile “order to table” feature.

The upgraded store offers a new range of bakery products freshly baked in-store each day. Its range of pastries includes flaky cheese twists and pain au chocolats.

Last month, Costa Coffee opened its new venue at Tesco Extra, Fishbourne Road, Chichester.

The new venue offers digital menu boards, indoor seating and feature walls. The 11-person staff at the store will be serving customers from Costa’s newly introduced 2023 festive menu, which features roasted hazelnut and sticky toffee options.

As part of the brand’s sustainability efforts, the venue will allow guests to quickly recycle their take-out cups in-store.
