Fast casual and quick-service restaurant group Craveworthy Brands has decided to deploy Toast’s point-of-sale (POS) systems at 50 additional locations.

This brings the total number of Craveworthy’s locations covered by Toast to 93, with plans for future expansion.

Craveworthy has sought a new technology partner for its brands, which include BD’s Mongolian Grill, Flat Top Grill, Genghis Grill, Krafted Burger Bar + Tap, The Budlong Hot Chicken, Wing It On and its latest concept, Lucky Cat Poke Bowls.

Besides using Toast’s POS terminals, Craveworthy will also use its Go 2 handheld POS devices, kitchen display systems and multi-location management systems.

Craveworthy can benefit from Toast’s ecosystem with more than 200 integration partners and innovations, such as its new mobile app.

Craveworthy Brands chief growth and development officer Jeremy Theisen stated: “We needed a strategic partner who could provide the range of guest-facing products, ease of use, flexibility, and dedicated resources to help us drive change and accelerate growth — Toast is that partner.

“Since implementing Toast, we’ve seen a dramatic improvement in our team’s ability to operate more efficiently, from restaurant managers and IT support all the way up to leadership. The beauty of Toast is that it just works.

“I’m able to easily understand and analyse what’s going on in each restaurant, managers are able to spend less time troubleshooting and more time with guests, and anyone on our team can use Toast without a high level of technical expertise.”

Toast enterprise senior vice-president Kelly Esten said: “Fast-growing restaurant companies like Craveworthy understand that they need the right technology partners in their corner in order to achieve their growth objectives and tailor guest experience across brands.

“We’re delighted to partner with Craveworthy and other tech-forward brands looking to uplevel their tech stack and build foundations for scale — all while preserving their unique guest experiences.”

In September 2023, Gordon Food Service selected Toast as its preferred point-of-sale (POS) partner for its restaurant operations in Canada.
