US-based provider of foodservice software Culinary Software Services (CSS) has named Bryan Counts as its operations vice-president.
CSS has taken this decision as part of a strategy to support its growth across large and mid-sized foodservice operations to control their food costs and maximise profits.
In his new role, Counts will report to the company’s president Brian Bennett. He is currently serving as a member of the executive team.
He will work from the Boulder, Colorado office and is responsible for leading the company’s sales, support, and training departments, as well as overseeing strategic growth initiatives and business development.
Bennett said: “I have known and worked with Bryan for a long time and I’m pleased that he will take on these new responsibilities.
“It’s such an important time with our customer base exceeding 45,000 installations and growing rapidly. As well, the company will soon celebrate 30 years of leadership and innovation in back-office software for the foodservice industry.

Counts will take charge of all day-to-day sales and training activities such as the development, implementation and management of sustainable and profitable operation procedures.
Prior to joining CSS, he served as the senior manager enablement at Salesforce Industries.
