Greene King‘s leased, tenanted, and franchised business unit Pub Partners has appointed Dan Robinson as the new managing director.

Robinson will report to former managing director Wayne Shurvinton, who recently assumed the position of managing director of partnerships and ventures.

Previously serving as asset optimisation director, Robinson has been working at Greene King since 2016.

In addition, he has served as interim managing director of Greene King Local Pubs and the central operations director for all Greene King-managed pubs.

Robinson said: “Having worked in operational and leadership roles across the Greene King business over the last seven years, I have long been an admirer of the team and the brilliant partners we work with.

“I cannot wait to get started and help our partners continue to grow their pub businesses with the support of our great team.”

He has nearly 25 years of experience in the pub business and has worked in operational capacities for Punch, Scottish & Newcastle, and Spirit Pub Company.

Shurvinton said: “With his years of experience in the pub trade, Dan understands Pub Partners well and I am excited to see him take the business forward, building on the great work that the team has already delivered.”

In September 2018, Shurvinton was appointed as the managing director of Pub Partners.
