American steakhouse chain Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group has named Mia Meachem as its new chief marketing officer (CMO) effective immediately.

Meachem will oversee the brand’s overall marketing, innovation and consumer engagement strategy.

Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group CEO Norman Abdallah said: “We are thrilled to welcome Mia to the Del Frisco’s family. Her significant industry experience and knowledge paired with her strong leadership skills is a testament to our continued commitment to assemble a strong leadership team.

“As we have begun a new era at the company through the acquisition of Barcelona and bartaco, we felt it was the optimal time to reinstate the role of CMO.

“I see tremendous opportunity to further elevate and increase consumer engagement of these brands.”

Prior to joining Del Frisco’s, Meachem served as the CMO of Highland Park Village, where she was responsible for driving customer growth and elevating the brand’s identity and visibility.

She also worked in critical marketing roles at various companies including Neiman Marcus Group, Burt’s Bees and Estée Lauder Companies.

Based in Texas, Del Frisco’s currently operates 84 restaurants across 24 states and Washington, D.C. under various brands such as Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, Barcelona Wine Bar, bartaco, Del Frisco’s Grille and Sullivan’s Steakhouse.
