Catering delivery and setup company DeliverThat has announced its integration with Cartwheel, an on-demand delivery management platform.

Cartwheel offers software solutions to merchants in managing their hybrid off-premises strategy.

Merchants will have enhanced control over their catering deliveries with the integration of DeliverThat’s extensive network of 25,000 active drivers with Cartwheel’s software solutions.

The integration of DeliverThat and Cartwheel creates an all-encompassing solution for catering delivery management. It is designed to enhance overall catering experiences from beginning to finish.

DeliverThat chief technology officer Matt Benzel said: “Cartwheel users can now efficiently oversee their delivery fleet through the Cartwheel software and driver app, with the added benefit of third-party catering integrations.

“Given these advancements, it was a natural fit for DeliverThat to integrate with the new Demand Side Platform (DSP) API [application programming interface].”

“This integration positions DeliverThat as the optimal catering delivery DSP option for shared merchant customers.”

Cartwheel CEO Alex Vasilkin said: “As the catering delivery business continues to expand, prioritising customer experience becomes increasingly crucial. We are delighted to partner with DeliverThat, a catering-focused delivery provider, as part of Cartwheel’s newly released DSP API.”

“This integration empowers our brands to rely on more delivery options complementing their in-house catering operations, ensuring exceptional service for their customers.”

In November 2023 restaurant technology company Lunchbox entered a partnership with DeliverThat to utilise its US catering delivery network.

The move was aimed at enabling Lunchbox Delivery Dispatch users to access DeliverThat’s fleet of drivers, adding white-glove delivery support for Lunchbox’s corporate catering clients.

Lunchbox collaborates with quick-service restaurant brands such as Firehouse Subs, Papa Gino’s, Torchy’s Tacos and Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux.

In August 2024, Cartwheel partnered with Toast Partner Ecosystem to assist restaurants to improve their in-house delivery operations.

The integration of Cartwheel’s hybrid delivery technology and third-party fleet-management capabilities with Toast’s point-of-sale system was designed to enable restaurant companies to seamlessly oversee delivery operations.
