UAE-based air and travel services provider dnata has secured a multi-year contract to provide inflight catering services to Etihad Airways in the US.
The partnership commenced with services from dnata’s facility at Boston Logan Airport from 31 March 2024.
dnata’s teams are set to produce and uplift more than 125,000 meals annually, enhancing the dining experience on Etihad’s four weekly flights between Boston, US and Abu Dhabi, UAE.
dnata Catering North America CEO Peter DeVito said: “We are delighted to have been appointed as the exclusive catering supplier to Etihad Airways in Boston. Our experienced team will consistently deliver outstanding culinary products that contribute to the passenger’s exceptional journey.
“We look forward to working closely with Etihad and will continue to invest in our people, infrastructure and products to be the best in everything we do.”
The new contract with Etihad Airways expands dnata’s presence in the country, where it currently serves 40 airline customers across 12 airports with a workforce exceeding 1,000 hospitality professionals.

In September 2023, dnata was awarded a multi-year contract by China Airlines in the Czech Republic to deliver in-flight catering, consisting of 30,000 meals annually, from its facility at Prague Airport.
dnata provides services to 15 airlines in the Czech Republic. The company reported a significant increase in operations at Prague Airport, with meal uplifts surpassing 4.5 million in the financial year 2022 to 2023.
