On-demand restaurant delivery service DoorDash has entered a strategic partnership with US-based delivery logistics platform Bringg to expand the size and reach of its delivery operations.
Participating restaurants will have access to real-time visibility of their deliveries through the Bringg dashboard while using DoorDash Drive.
Bringg’s business development vice-president Ben Flammang said: “As customer demand grows, restaurants are looking for new operational technology solutions to broaden their reach and ensure that every order is fulfilled efficiently.
“That’s why I’m so excited about our new partnership with DoorDash. The integration of our platforms will benefit restaurant owners who will be able to reach new clients more efficiently, as well as their customers who will have more options to have their favourite brands delivered to their door faster than ever before.”
DoorDash’s customers can also control, manage, track and optimise their processes and orders by using Bringg’s delivery operations solution.
DoorDash business development lead A.J. Tus said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Bringg to design effective last-mile logistics solutions for our shared clients.
“The combination of Bringg’s logistics tooling and tracking solutions with DoorDash’s national scale and operational expertise will unlock new last-mile opportunities for merchants in the restaurant industry and beyond.”
Established in 2013, DoorDash connects customers with local and national restaurants in more than 1,200 cities across the US and Canada.
