DPC Dash, a master franchisee of Domino’s Pizza in China, Hong Kong and Macau, has announced the opening of its 700th location in Wenzhou.

The opening of the new location is part of DPC Dash’s plan to expand Domino’s restaurant footprint in China.

DPC Dash executive director and CEO Aileen Wang said: “This important milestone in our growth demonstrates our success as we continue executing tailored localisation strategies and implementing our actionable store expansion plan.

“We remain focused on a delivery-centric business model and on strengthening our development capabilities in regard to both menu and technology.”

In addition to the Wenzhou location, DPC Dash announced plans to open two new restaurants in Jiaxing and Zhejiang.

With these store openings, the company is on track to meet its target to open around 180 and 240 new stores in 2023 and 2024, respectively.

As of 30 September 2023, the franchisor directly operates 716 stores spread across 21 cities on China’s mainland.

In June this year, DPC Dash said that it had boosted its store count in China to 656 as of 31 May 2023.

It added that it has built on Domino’s business model by localising its key features for China and its consumers.

The business model focuses on serving pizzas to Chinese consumers through online channels, with an emphasis on delivery enhanced by technology.
