US-based quick service restaurant (QSR) franchisor Dunkin’ Brands Group has expanded its menu offerings with the launch of the Dunkin’ Run snacks menu.
Available for $2 each, the Dunkin’ Run menu features five items – doughnut fries, ham and cheese roll-ups, pretzel bites and mustard, waffle breaded chicken tenders and a fudge brownie.
Doughnut fries is made using five individual pieces of croissant-style doughnut dough blended with cinnamon sugar. It was initially introduced nationwide earlier this summer.
The ham and cheese roll-up is a blend of two orders of ham and cheese in flour tortillas, while pretzel bites and mustard is made using five pretzels topped with salt and served warm with brown mustard.
The waffle breaded chicken tenders feature two chicken tenders coated with waffle batter.
Dunkin’ Donuts’ US chief marketing officer Tony Weisman said: “We know that the ‘Dunkin’ Run is a daily part of many of our guests’ lives as they keep themselves and their friends running, so we’re excited to launch a new menu offering fresh ways to satisfy any craving any time of day.
“We also recognise the importance of providing alternative choices for people with dietary restrictions or who choose a gluten-free diet, which is why we’re pleased our new menu offers guests a gluten-free fudge brownie, which is so chewy and delicious we think everyone will love it.”
The Dunkin’ Run menu items are currently available for customers at participating restaurants across the US.
The QSR chain is also re-launching its S’mores Doughnut at participating restaurants across the US for a limited time.
S’mores Doughnut is made using toasted marshmallow flavoured filling, frosted with chocolate icing and topped with a mix of crumbled graham crackers, marshmallow flavoured pieces and Hershey’s chocolate.
