American quick service restaurant franchisor Dunkin’ Brands Group has promoted three executives, Brian Gilbert, Frank Barone and Mathias Piercy, to vice-president roles.

Brian Gilbert has been appointed as vice-president for Retail Business Development and will be responsible for developing global consumer packaged goods business and channel partnerships for the company’s two brands, Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins.

In the new role as vice-president for Financial Management & Business Analytics, Frank Barone will provide tactical and strategic direction to the business analysis finance function across both brands.

Barone will lead the Business Analytics teams for both the brands in the US and manage all aspects of product demand. Among his focus areas are sales forecasting and reporting, promotional and test analytics, demand planning and management of marketing spend, as well as brand and loyalty customer level analytics and reporting.

Mathias Piercy will serve as regional vice-president, South Central, and lead operations and development for Dunkin’ Donuts in the region.

Gilbert, Barone and Piercy have worked at Dunkin’ Brands prior to their promotions.

Gilbert has been with Dunkin’ Brands for 14 years and has an overall experience of 30 years. He has held management positions with Ocean Spray Cranberries, Quaker Oats Company’s Gatorade Division and Pepsi-Cola Company.

Barone joined Dunkin’ Brands in 2001 and prior to this role, he served at Northrop Grumman / DOD Consultants, and Public Consulting Group.

With 25 years of quick-service restaurant experience, Piercy has been with Dunkin’ Brands for ten years. Previously, Piercy held several management and operations positions with Taco Bell, KFC and other franchise networks.
