US casual dining venue Fielding’s Wood Grill has implemented Epson’s TrueOrder kitchen display system (KDS) to improve operations.
Located in The Woodlands, Texas, the restaurant is part of Fielding’s Culinary Group.

Epson’s KDS is said to have moved Fielding’s Wood Grill’s workflow from preparation to fulfilment onto a digital system, aiming to boost order accuracy and efficiency.
The company added that its TrueOrder KDS is built to integrate with point-of-sale (POS) platforms that already work with Epson printers.
The KDS system can also be configured for different types of stations, including kitchen, expediter and customer-facing screens. It also uses a browser-based configurator and interface.

The group also intends to roll out the technology across its other restaurant locations.

In January 2025, Epson partnered with restaurant kitchen solutions provider Kitchen Armor to further develop its TrueOrder KDS.
